Ryan Ward joined the PCS team in 2016. He received his education from ITT Technical Institute, with an Applied Computer Sciences Major. Ryan has certifications in CompTIA A+ and Network+, as well as Microsoft MCSE and MCP. He has also passed his Sophos Central Architect Certification.
For over six years, Ryan owned a sales and service-based computer repair shop. This experience enables him to enter all types of businesses, assess the network and then resolve any issues. Ryan has a lot of experience with project management. He is also able to configure and manage Small Business Server 2008, 2011 and 2012. Ryan is also experienced with Exchange Management.
Ryan is serving at PCS as a Network Engineer, which includes offering a wide range of support from servers and firewalls to the clients and all related devices. He has learned that merging his proven problem-solving skills with a larger team provides even greater confidence that anything can be accomplished, and solutions can be found for PCS clients.
Ryan has gained experience with a lot of Microsoft Server implementations with a strong focus on virtualization. In recent years, this includes a lot of involvement with Microsoft Server 2016 and 2019. He’s also gotten a lot of experience on many different backup solutions and in project management and network design/implementations.
Ryan loves to spend time with his son and daughter. He also enjoys working on cars and powerlifting. Other interests include competitive computer gaming online and studying astrophysics. Additionally, Ryan is currently in flight school for his private pilot’s license.
