David Virkler joined the PCS team in May of 2014 with over a decade of technology experience. His technology background includes network design, Microsoft server implementations and troubleshooting, working with ShoreTel/Mitel systems, software design, project management and more. He can also appreciate and utilize the unique perspective of a business owner, as he has owned several businesses.

Currently at PCS, David is working with technology strategy and design, advanced troubleshooting of networks and phone systems, and project management. David commented, “One of the things I enjoy most about my work is taking the time to understanding the client’s business and then being able to make recommendations that can have a huge impact and provide significant value.  There is so much that we can help with – it gives me energy every day!”

David studied Telecommunications Management at Illinois Central College and has earned several certifications, including: Windows Server 2016 MCSE Core Infrastructure, Sophos Certified Architect, Windows 10 Configuration, ShoreTel Implementing the ShoreTel IP System, and ShoreTel Advanced System and Troubleshooting.

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and their children, projects around their home, and volunteer work opportunities.
